YOU ARE Patient (Part 2)

Last week we talked about being patient and how patience is IN you, but you have to allow it to come out of you.

Well, in order  to EXERCISE PATIENCE you must be PLACED IN SITUATIONS that REQUIRE PATIENCE.

— The more you EXERCISE PATIENCE, the better you become at it!

— PATIENCE is IN YOU, but it has to be DEVELOPED!

HAVE JOY when trials come:

— JOY is a fruit of the Spirit.

— Happiness is an English word that is contingent upon Happenstance or Circumstance.

— If something good happens, you can be happy.  If something bad happens, you can be sad.

— But JOY is not happiness.

— JOY is a fruit of the Spirit.

— The Holy Spirit is ALWAYS IN YOU, so you can ALWAYS HAVE JOY!

— Your world could be falling apart and you still have JOY.

We all went through some kind of schooling:

— You know your progress needs to be measured.

— How can that be done without testing or examination?

— Most of us do not like testing or exams but If we did away with tests, how would we gauge growth or lessons learned?

— The tests serve a purpose – both in our carnal life and in our spiritual lives!

James said, “The testing of your faith produces patience.” (James 1:3).  Your faith must be tested.

I know a lot of you are facing some real difficult situations in you life right now.  Hear me out:

— God is not punishing you!

— Your faith is being tested!

— This too shall pass!

Here are a few quick closing nuggets:

  1.  Trials can produce growth.
  2.  The Trials are temporary, but the fruit we produce through the trails can be eternal!
  3.  Your attitude during the trial will determine whether you produce or destroy fruit.

Patience is in you… allow it to come UP and OUT of you!

Let patience have her perfect work.

You are patient!

Until next week,

Isabella
