In this week’s message I feel led to continue to teach grace and how we get to experience the grace of God when we humble ourselves.  God’s grace is freely available to us, but pride will keep us from it.

James 4:6 (ESV)

But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

Another translation reads, “But He gives a greater grace.”

—  God loves us all and always will.  However, His love for us DOES NOT mean He will overlook PRIDE!  

—  God opposes and the proud!

—  He gives MORE GRACE to the Humble!

Here are a few highlights from the message:

—  When you are Born-Again you are delivered FROM SIN, but you must also be delivered from SELF and SELFISHNESS!

—  You were NOT DESIGNED to live life ON YOUR OWN.

1 Peter 5:5-6, AMP

“For God sets Himself against the proud (the insolent, the overbearing, the disdainful, the presumptuous, the boastful)—[and He opposes, frustrates, and defeats them], but gives grace (favor, blessing) to the humble. Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you….”

—  You cannot do it all by yourself.

—  God gave us his Holy Spirit as a helper.

—  God is available to us at all times, stop trying to fix it or do it all by yourself.

In closing,

—  Get inspired to RELEASE PRIDE!

—  Get inspired to HUMBLE YOURSELF… so God does not have to humble you!

—  Get Inspired to RECEIVE MORE GRACE!
