I have been teaching on God’s love for a while.  I trust the messages have been a blessing to you.  This week we will continue to teach on being “Love Covers A Multitude of Sins”.

Here are a few highlights from the message:

— What makes it difficult to love others is their faults, flaws and their sins.  But we are all flawed.  What is true for other is also true for us.

— The love of God empowers us to love others in spite of their faults, flaws and failures.  This is what God does for us.  He loves us inspite of!

— The love of God empowers us to love others without being judgmental and without holding grudges.

— You don’t have to agree with someone in order to love them!

— God’s Love is one-sided.  It is not contingent upon what the other side today.  It does not require the other side to be perfect in order to love them.  God’s Love ONLY considers God’s side and God’s side is ALWAYS love!

— We are called to accept one another, just as Christ accepted us (Romans 15:17).

— The Body of Christ is a place where imperfect people come in contact with true love in spite of their past sins, their present mess, and their future mistakes.

In closing,

Get inspired to be the person who will cover their brother or sister’s sin with love.

Get inspired to love them in spite of their imperfections.

Get inspired to spend time praying for them and covering them in love. You are not their fixer—God is!

Stop trying to fix them or cure them of their sins, just cover them in love.
