Last week I introduced you to our new series.  There are 20 characteristics of God’s Love in 1st Corinthians Chapter 13.  Last week I dealt with the first one.  Today we will deal with the second, “Love is patient.”

Here are some of the highlights from the message:

— Patience is a fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22).

— God’s Love comes as a result of God’s Spirit in us.

— If we love God we will keep His commandments (1 John 5:3).

— We live in a world full of impatience.

— We must learn to be patient with God and with others.

— You prove your love for a God you cannot see by loving those you can see!

— God gives us His love SO WE CAN GIVE IT AWAY!

Some scriptures on patience:

(Romans 12:12)  Be patient in tribulation

(2 Corinthians 1:6)  Patiently endure during sufferings

(2 Timothy 2:24)  Patiently endure evil

(2 Timothy 4:2)  Reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience

(Hebrews 6:12)  Be Imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises

(Psalm 37:7)  Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him

Get Inspired to be patient with others, just like God is patient with you!

Get Inspired receive and release God’s love to others!

Get Inspired to allow patience to have her perfect work in you!
