Have Faith IN God
Last week I discussed the Bible’s meaning of Faith:
Hebrews 11:1
FAITH is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.
Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
— Our faith is based upon God’s Promises: found either in HIS WORD or something He spoke DIRECTLY to us.
— Therefore, we need to hear from God.
— Faith begins where the will of God is known.
— God’s Word is a great place to start.
— Knowing what God’s Word has to say about something gives us the opportunity to believe it and to therefore exercise our FAITH IN GOD!
*** Believing God’s Word, by itself, IS NOT FAITH. That is simply BELIEF.
Faith is:
- Something you SAY!
- Something you DO!
- Something you SOW!
Faith is an action Word and it will require you to DO something!
But it does start with BELIEF.
For example, how can you have faith for God to heal your body, if you did not first BELIEVE God’s promises concerning healing?
So you:
- Hear from God.
- Believe what He said.
- HAVE FAITH IN GOD… by doing something based on what He said!
FAITH is required for daily living.
As believers, we cannot live a victorious life without exercising FAITH:
Mark 11:22-24
— Your ultimate faith has to be in God
— NOT IN THE WORD OF GOD
— … but in THE GOD OF THE WORD!
No matter what you are facing today:
- Have Faith IN God!
- Believe His Word
- Seek His guidance
- When you receive a word from God… exercise your faith!
- SAY SOMETHING!
- DO SOMETHING!
- SOW SOMETHING!
- DO what the Holy Spirit leads you to DO… IN FAITH!
- Believe you have the grace and the power through Christ Jesus, to talk to that mountain and tell the mountain what you are being LED TO SAY!
Get Inspired to believe God on another level!
Get Inspired to exercise Your Faith!
Get Inspired to HAVE FAITH IN GOD!
You are the JUST and the JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH!
HAVE FAITH IN GOD!
