Vision:
— Vision is more insight than it is sight.
— Vision is being able to see beyond where your eyes can look.
— Sight is common, vision is rare.
(Prov 29:18 NIV) Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law.
— People with Vision don’t do everything.
— Their vision restrains them.
— Their vision keeps them focused.
— Their vision makes their life simple.
Vision gives pain a purpose. Those without vision spend their lives taking the path of least resistance as they try to avoid discomfort.
The late Dr. Myles Munroe said “Vision is foresight, birthed from insight, with the benefit of hindsight.” He also said, “Sight is the function of the eyes. But Vision is a function of the heart.”
Get Inspired receive divine vision from God for your life!
Get Inspired to maximize that vision before you die!
Until next week….

Here are a few highlights of the message:
— You cannot love God’s way with Him. God’s love is beyond human ability. God’s love is not human love.
— Forgiveness frees you! When you are done wrong and you then choose to carry bitterness and unforgiveness in your heart concerning the wrong done, then you are allowing yourself to be wronged twice. You are wrong by the other person and you are wronging yourself, by carrying the weight, bitterness and pain of the situation.
— God’s love can free you from the pain of your past, and then empower you to love others; even those who did you wrong!
— True love enables true forgiveness.
Please watch the message and enjoy.

We are still dealing with the 20 Characteristics of God’s Love found in 1 Corinthians 13.
I have been teaching my way through this passage for months. I trust that you have been blessed by the Word. Today we will look at several characteristics of God’s love in one message. I will cover the fact that God’s love is not self-seeking, touchy, fretful, or resentful. I get this from 1 Cor 13:5. The Amplified Version of this verse reads:
Love is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong].
In this message you will learn how to deal with difficult people and you will also learn how NOT to be one yourself. God has called you to be a blessing and not a curse. I truly believe this message will bless you. Please take a few minutes to watch the video.
Finally,
Get inspired to walk in God’s Love.
Get inspired to NOT BE self seeking, touchy, fretful or resentful.
Get inspired to be an EXAMPLE of JESUS for all the world to see!
Until next week….

We are still dealing with the 20 Characteristics of God’s Love found in 1 Corinthians 13.
Today we will talk about the fact that “Love does not insist on it’s own way.”
(1Co 13:5 AMP) It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong].
Here are a few highlights from the message:
— We are called to represent Christ in this world.
— When we fail to operate in love, we misrepresent the God we serve.
— Relationships require compromise on both sides.
— A relationship where one side does not compromise is more like domination or manipulation.
— Love and selfishness don’t mix.
— Seek God’s way over your own way!
— Seek to BE a blessing.
Get inspired to love like Jesus does, because as Jesus is, so are we in this world.
Get inspired to live as the person God called you to be.
Get inspired to BE LOVE in this world.
Until next week….

In December Rick and I traveled to the Dominican Republic with our family. We were able to provide toys for all 150 of the children our ministry provides an education for. We are committed to these children and we were thankful to be able to meet many of their parents. They expressed their thanks for our ministry. Many of the parents cannot pay for an education. RIPMinistries provides them an education free-of-charge. We also provide hot meals every school day and lots of support throughout the year.
In January we were able to provide groceries for 80 families in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. This is an area where tourists from all over the world visit to vacation. However, many of the locals live in extreme poverty. We provided each of the 80 families a bag of groceries with 15 products, simply as a token of God’s love.
A special thanks to our financial partners and supporters for helping us to share God’s love around the world. If would like to make a tax-deductible donation (tax deducitble in the United States), you can do so by visiting: http://ripministries.org/donate.
Please watch the video. It’s only a few minutes long and I believe it will be a blessing to you.
Get Inspired to share God’s love with the world.
Get Inspired to believe God for a year of Supernatural Manifestation.

We are still dealing with the 20 Characteristics of God’s Love found in 1 Corinthians 13.
We have learnt so far how the LOVE of God allows us to:
Today we will talk about the fact that “Love does not act Unbecomingly.”
(1 Cor 13:5 AMP) It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own.
To act unbecomingly means
For the Believer, this means you don’t act in a way that misrepresents Christ!
*** The world is quick to let you know how YOU, as a Christian, should act! Even if they are NOT acting the way they should, they are quick to tell you HOW you should act. Either way, God Lives in you, you represent Him in the earth, and you should act in a way that brings Him glory!
So on this week:
Get inspired to draw others towards God, not drive them away because your attitude is unbecoming.
Get inspired to meet the needs of others, by loving them just as they are, because God IS love!
Get inspired to LOVE others, in every circumstance. Let them see the LOVE of God in you!
Until next week….

]]>We are still dealing with the 20 Characteristics of God’s Love found in 1 Corinthians 13.
We have learnt so far how the LOVE of God allows us to:
Today we will talk about the fact that: Love Is NOT Rude.
(1 Cor 13:5)
It (Love) is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured.
Rude means to be discourteous, of coarse manners; unpolished, to act in an offensive manner, lacking refinement, culture or elegance.
Our society is becoming more and more tolerant for rudeness. People being rude are glorified by the media and those around us. It seems like Rudeness is displayed everywhere. But God commands us to operate in love towards those who are RUDE towards us.
To shine as God’s light and love in this world, we must NOT be rude to others.
I like the way my husband explains this. He said, “Love is not rude. It doesn’t fly off the handle. Love doesn’t seek to offend, but rather to reconcile. Love doesn’t seek to cause offense, but rather to share with others while operating in harmony. Love seeks to meet needs without causing problems.”
Get inspired to draw others towards God, not drive them away with your rude attitude.
Get inspired to meet the needs of others, but to do so in such a way as to avoid offense.
Get inspired to love others, even when they are rude to you. Let them see the LOVE of God in you!
Remember, Love is PATIENT, Love is KIND, Love ENDURES LONG, Love is NOT ENVIOUS, love does not brag, is not proud, is not arrogant and Love is not RUDE.

]]>We are still dealing with the 20 Characteristics of God’s Love found in 1 Corinthians 13.
We have learnt so far how the LOVE of God allows us to:
Endure Long
Be Patient
Be Kind
And NOT be envious
Today we will learn that Love Is NOT Boastful, Proud, or Arrogant.
Here are some of the things I cover in the message:
The Bible says, “Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant.” (1 Cor 13:4)
To be boastful is to speak of one’s self with excessive pride; having an excessively high opinion of oneself.
To operate in pride is to think more highly of yourself than you ought to think; possessing a high or unreasonable conceit of one’s own excellence.
Pride is a weapon of our enemy. As a matter of fact, it is one of his three major weapons.
Satan’s “big three” weapons are (1 John 2:16):
1) The lust of the flesh,
2) the lust of the eyes, and
3) the pride of life.
To be arrogant means you have an attitude of superiority; you are “full of yourself”; this is an extreme form of pride.
A believer has no need to be…
*** When you love God and you rest in His love for you, your focus is on God, His ability, His power and His strength.
Get inspired to stop esteeming yourself above others because love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant.
Rest in God’s love and know that He will exalt you in due season.
Get inspired to LOVE even when you are not noticed or recognized by anyone else.
Rest in the fact that God sees you when no one else does and He will open doors for you that no man can close!
Remember, Love is PATIENT, Love is KIND, Love ENDURES LONG, Love is NOT ENVIOUS and love does not brag, is not proud, and is not arrogant.

]]>The post The Characteristics of God’s Love (Part 4) – Love is NOT Envious appeared first on Get Inspired.
]]>
Today we will cover the 4th: “Love Is NOT Envious”
According to the Webster’s dictionary…
Envy means: a painful awareness of another’s possessions or advantages and a desire to have them too.
Some Synonyms to the word ENVY are:
Some Antonyms — (opposite in meaning words) are:
You get the picture.
If I made two columns with these words
Column 1 — Synonyms to Envy
Column 2 — Antonyms to Envy
Then I asked you to stand under a column, where would you stand?
I pray we can all stand under the column with the antonym words to the word Envy.
But if you can’t, then hopefully by the end of this message, you will be INSPIRED to walk love, free of Envy.
Here are a few highlights from the message:
— Envy is rooted in fear and there is no fear in love (1 Jn 4:18)
— Where you find envy you will also find disorder and every evil practice (Jas 3:16)
— Envy rots the bones; eating away at you from the inside out (Prov 14:30)
— There is no need to compare yourself to anyone else (2 Cor 10:12)
— God made you unique, rest in your own divine identity!
*** Envy is like ignoring God’s grace on your life, while at the same time, resenting God’s grace on the life of someone else.
Get inspired to stop comparing yourself to anyone else.
Get inspired to sow seeds of LOVE and not ENVY.
Remember, Love is PATIENT, Love is KIND, Love ENDURES LONG and Love is definitely NOT ENVIOUS!
